     Why should I donate?

ACarol Art Gallery requires a huge time commitment to run. Not only do I produce art, I also produce photography, computer art and cards. As a result, I am running the gallery not just for fun, but as a full time job. By donating to the gallery, you are helping to support me and helping to keep the art available and updated on the web for everyone to enjoy.

     What does my donation get used for?

Most of the time, donations are counted as being a part of the gallery’s overall income. This income pays for hosting, art supplies, my paychecks, and all the various expenses of running a business. Sometimes, though, I do decide to use the donations from a given month for a specific purpose, such as a new computer, or helping to replace my dying vehicle, or to pay the rent. When that is the case, you will see an announcement on the page to that effect.

     What do I get for donating?

To show my appreciation for your support, everyone who donates $5 or more will get this month's wallpaper donation gift and be entered in a monthly drawing to win prints, photos, art cards or other valuable prizes.

I would also like to reward those of you who choose to donate a little more to the gallery, so I have come up with these extra donation gifts as an expression of my gratitude. Thank you so much for supporting ACarol Art Gallery!

If you donate $10 or more, you will get a copy of this month’s wallpaper and one additional entry into the drawing for every $5 increment, as my thank you for taking the time to donate above and beyond.

If you donate $40 or more, I will add you to my wallpaper club. I will send you a link each month as new wallpapers become available. You’ll also get a bonus wallpaper at the end of the year that won’t be offered anywhere else as a special thank you, and will have your name put into a special yearly drawing for a grand prize.

If you donate $100 or more, I will enthusiastically send you a watercolor painting of your choice and a whole lot of profuse gratitude. You will also still be added to the wallpaper club, and will have extra entries of your name in both the monthly drawing and the yearly grand prize drawing.

If you donate $500 or more, I…well, I will be speechless. I will give you all the benefits mentioned above and…and a very nice gift of some sort that I’ll figure out later…because at the moment, I can’t even begin to comprehend this level of generosity!
